Project / Programme Planner - Southampton/Portsmouth - 3 months+ £400 - £460 per day
An immediate and urgent opportunity for an experienced Planner to join our client on the south coast and help them deliver a number of large-scale, complex projects within an even larger programme of work. A day rate of £400 - £460 per day is offered for an initial term of 3 months which is likely to be extended.
Applicants must be experienced Planners with experience of ensuring projects are appropriately planned, resourced and reported against, in turn meaning their successful delivery. Applicants should be able to match capacity and capability to prioritise demand, making effective use of available resources to deliver key objectives.
Applicants will be experienced in planning major and complex projects encompassing entire organisations, be experienced in the Prince 2 methodology and using MS Project, Visio and MS Office tools. The project is an ERP replacement so experience in this type of project (or similar) would be a distinct advantage but is not essential. Ideally applicants will have knowledge of Oracle, retail systems and/or supply chain systems, Agile or Waterfall methodologies would also be useful but not essential.

A new and immediate opportunity for a Systems Operator to join our rapidly expanding Bath based client in the internet communications sector. A starting salary of £19,000 - £21,000 is offered along with excellent benefits.
Our Client has become well established in their field and are experiencing substantial growth. Due to this success they are undergoing a large expansion process and require a flexible Systems Operator to work as part of an unsupervised team operating on a 24/7 shift pattern, assisting in the implementation of reliability into systems and services, ensuring optimum availability.
The successful applicant will contribute to the maintenance and monitoring of services, managing user administration requests and troubleshooting, resolving and providing feedback from production issues.
Applicants will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have extensive knowledge of installing, configuring and maintaining Linux servers, ideally in a multi-node environment. Strong LAMP administration skills coupled with an in-depth understanding of clustering and deployment is essential. Applicants must be skilled in areas such as: Performance monitoring and problem solving, Enterprise server and storage hardware, providing user support and guidance. Experience of VoIP administration and work in a datacentre environment is desirable as is experience with Apache, Nagios, Munin and MySQL.

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join us for 2 – 3 months over the summer to assist us with a peak in workload as well as holiday cover. The role will involve taking receipt of new vacancies, advertising, dealing with incoming candidate responses, resourcing candidate CVs online and using our database, presenting CVs to our clients and managing the interview process through to offer acceptance.
Applicant must have experience of the recruitment lifecycle and working in close contact with clients to deliver permanent and contract applicants often within tight time-scales. Additional experience working within the IT recruitment industry would be beneficial but not essential, as would experience of support clients across Europe.
This role will be similar in many respects to an account management post as no cold calling or new business activities are required however if you find yourself inspired to introduce our company to new customers and make placements you will be handsomely rewarded!
As a longer term measure we are seeking a permanent consultant to join our team in Bristol so this role could progress into a permanent position if so desired.
