An immediate opportunity for a DevOps Engineer with strong Linux enterprise infrastructure experience to join a highly successful technology consultancy in central London. A starting salary of up to £70,000 is offered along with excellent benefits.
This employer has established and enviable reputation for delivering best-in-class solutions for their clients in complex technical environments. They deliver software projects for customers across public, private, financial and eCommerce and travel sectors and have offices throughout the UK and abroad. Due to ongoing expansions in their technical teams they are now looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to ensure the development environment and infrastructure run smoothly and manage project delivery internally and at client sites.
Applicants will have strong, commercial experience in the deployment and maintenance of complex multi-tier server infrastructure, building automated environments and deployment. Applicants must have in-depth experience with platform & application automated build and configuration management tools (Docker / Puppet / Chef / Ansible etc.). Excellent Linux systems admin and scripting skills (Python, Ruby, bash, korn) are also essential, as is exposure to Continuous Integration and package management. Deep understanding of virtualisation using technologies such as VSphere, Xen, KVM is also required. Any aditional knowledge of cloud systems such as AWS or Azure will be advantageous.
