An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager experience with developing software to support all aspects of the software development life cycle. A substantial salary of up to £60,000 with benefits is offered along with the opportunity to work with motivated and skilled individuals.
This international company is highly respected and well connected and has been providing programming tools for game developers for over 25 years. In this period of continued growth, the Bristol based office is looking for a skilled project manager with a background in software engineering and a desire to be challenged. Working closely with the Product Development team, you will work with teams to improve software development processes and have the opportunity to undertake occasional travel within Europe and to USA and Asia. Predominantly, they are seeking a Project Manager to co-ordinate the development of software with internal and external teams and report progress to stakeholders.
You will be responsible for creating, monitoring and adjusting product plans to ensure milestones are achieved to the agreed quality and cost. You will also manage internal non-production projects. With experience of managing several software development projects, you will have at least one example of a medium risk and cost; commercial customer/supplier relationship; multiple sites project. Along with strong communication and problem-solving skills, experience of the software development life cycle is a must. Having experience of JIRA, Confluence or Agile methods are advantageous but not necessary.
