This employer are extremely well established and have a global reputation for leading their industry. Due to significant growth in their client base as well as the evolving nature of their sector they are establishing a new software engineering team to develop innovative solutions, set to revolutionise their industry. These roles will involve the successful applicants joining an existing and collaborative team and contributing to all stages of the software design and development life cycle as well as interacting with colleagues in other software engineering teams, both in Bristol and internationally.
Applicants should have skills in writing low level software and libraries using C/C++ and experience of working with Linux. Applicants should have experience of working with full size or large-scale Linux operating systems, this is not an embedded Linux role and so applicants with experience only in the embedded space will not be suitable. Any experience of networking technologies and/or knowledge of operating system architectures would also be highly desirable but not essential.
