Senior Software Engineer - C++, Parallel / Distributed Systems - Bristol

A brand new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong C++ skills to join our high profile client's Bristol office. A starting salary of between £35,000 - £45,000 (dependant upon experience) is offered along with a flexible benefits package.

The employer has been established for over 20 years and have become globally recognised as the marketleader in their specialist niche. Backed by a very high profile parent company they now have software development offices across multiple locations and are continuing to lead innovation in their industry. Due to ongoing growth in their client base and product portfolio they are now seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to contribute to development projects.

Applicants must hold a Computer Science (or similar) degree along with strong commercial C++ and Win32 API skills. Applicants should have experience of developing software innovative software solutions to complex problems and will ideally have exposure to high performance systems, parallel computing, distributed systems, HTTP, Erlang, SQL/NoSQL, and/or JavaScript (training will be provided in any missing skills).
