Novate IT is a recruitment business which provides work-finding services to its clients and work-seekers. Novate IT must process personal data (including sensitive personal data) so that it can provide these services – in doing so, Novate IT acts as a data controller.

You may give your personal details to Novate IT directly, such as on an application or registration form or via our website, or we may collect them from another source such as a jobs board. Novate IT must have a legal basis for processing your personal data. For the purposes of providing you with work-finding services and/or information relating to roles relevant to you we will only use your personal data in accordance with the terms of the following statement.

Novate IT Privacy Policy

We collect certain information or data about you when you use novate-it.co.uk

We collect: - Contact form responses, questions, queries or feedback you leave, including your email address if you contact Novate IT - your email address and preferences when you sign up for our email alerts, and how you use our emails - for example, whether you open them and which links you click on - your IP address, and details of which version of web browser you used - information on how you use the site, using cookies, video tracking, and page tagging techniques.

This data can be viewed by authorised people within Novate IT, to: - improve the site by monitoring how you use it - gather feedback to improve our services, for example, our blog content - send email alerts to users who request them - allow you to access Novate ITs services - provide you with information about our services.

We store your data on secure servers in the European Economic Area (EEA) (except for data that we gather when you sign up to our email alerts). We have strict controls over how and why your data can be accessed. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this. Sending information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data while it’s in transit. Any data you send is at your own risk. We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it.

These services, such as 3rd party technology providers, have their own terms and conditions and privacy policies. If you go to another website from this one, read the privacy policy on that website to find out what it does with your information. If you come to novate-it.co.uk from another website, we may receive information from the other website. We don’t use this data. Data Privacy & Security

Within Novate IT, we have an appointed person (data protection officer) who is responsible for Data Privacy Compliance. This is currently our Office Manager / Resourcer – Natalie Wild

Our Privacy Policy governs the protection of personal data, including our client's personal data. Our management team approves the privacy policy and our employees are required to read and sign the policy. We conduct internal audits for Privacy and security practices and our employees are trained on data privacy requirements on an Annual basis.

There are regular privacy risk assessments conducted on our processing of personal data, which are conducted on a quarterly basis. As part of our commitment to our clients, we do not share data with any third party, including affiliates and subcontractors, except where we are under legal obligation to do so.

As part of our service to our clients, we will provide privacy notices or consents to data subjects as and when this is requested. We have a documented process/system to monitor compliance with consent and withdrawal of consent. Novate IT track privacy laws and update our policies and procedures on a regular basis. These are updated annually or when changes apply.

Privacy & Cookies

We use cookies to monitor licensed user sessions of Novate ITs recruitment platform. Like most website providers, we may generate statistics about how many people visit our site and what they look at. We may use web logs, cookies and services such as Google Analytics to do this. This enables us to keep our site relevant and useful. However, generally this information will not identify you. To the extent that such information is personal information, it will be treated in accordance with this policy.

Most web browsers are set by default to accept cookies. However, if you do not wish to receive cookies you may set your browser to either prompt or refuse cookies.

Access and Correction

Under the Privacy Act, you have the right to seek access to your personal information handled by Novate IT. You also have the right to ask us to update or correct your personal information when it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
